So Monday the 26th of May, will be the first day of my very first blog tour. Please Lord let me not screw this up and do everything right! It's crazy how much the girls at Love Between The Sheets have come together and pulled off the tour. I'm both excited and pretty nervous, but really fucking happy. I'm hoping to be able to reach a larger audience and just have more people like my books and style of writing.

With the great editing team from Hot Tree Edits, I finally gained back some of my confidence and realize that going it on your own isn't the best idea. Indie publishing is scary buiness but also a lot of fun if you know what you're doing. Which I'm learning with every step I make in this new world of indie writing! xoxox ;)

Make sure to follow the blog tour. For more info either follow me on twitter @evangelensbook or on Facebook Evangelene's books.

Bye for now my sexy loves!

I'm in the middle of finishing my trilogy and here I am sitting, contemplating writing Lukas' version. My Most Precious One has taken a life of its own now and I feeling the need to get Lukas' words out. So once I'm finished all my edits, I'll try my best to dive back into their world and bring to you the rest of their story.

My Guardian Angel will be the last book I publish without an editor. I thankfully found one that is perfect for me. I'm grateful to all of you who have stuck by me and were completely supportive.  Publishing is not easy especially on your own.  Most writers are not the best at grammar.  I tried and stumbled but now i have professional help, so i hope you stick with me through one more book. Love you all for all you great words and fantastic encouragement.

Kassia Preston is a best selling author whose a bit of recluse, but who could blame her after what had happened to her all those years ago. Thankfully, her brother Darios and her friends Genna and Tara had always been there for her. One day in Darios' gym, she meets Jason. He's young, fit and mouthwateringly sexy. Kassia is drawn to him, not only because of his looks but because of something else, something indescribable.
Jason Theroux, a young SWAT officer has his own demons that he keeps hidden deep inside.
What happens when these two broken souls get together? Will they be able to survive their past and forge a new future? Or will their demons begin to threaten their relationship, destroying it completely?

Plus get a sneak peak of The Devil Behind Me, book one of my new trilogy.

Being an independent author isn't easy.  I wanted an editor and an agent. I tried for a few years, but not one wanted me.  Each rejection wasn't even personal.  It was an automatic letter they would send out.  Yeah, I would have loved to have someone polish my books up and make them reader ready, but life isn't always like that.  You try your fucken hardest to do the best you can with what you got.  Do I have the money for a proofreader? No. I tried looking for one, but they cost more than my mortgage payment.  An editor? Are you crazy! They cost the same amount as a used car.  Indie authors go out there and read and reread and have others read their stories, until you hate the damn thing.  It’s not as easy as one thinks.

I love to write and each story I write scares the living crap out of me.  I don't have anywhere to go or hide. What you read, is what you get, without a set a professional eyes to tell me it's good.    Please try to take indie authors with a grain of salt.  They are thousands of books that suck, but there are a few diamonds in the rough that are just wonderful to read.   The most popular ones have had the worst editing and yes I have read my fair share of books, even published ones have mistakes.

Now that being said, yes I will try my hardest to learn and get my stuff out there the best I can. I appreciated the constructive criticism and I'm thankful to all of you.

I'm honestly grateful for some of these powerful reviews that I've been getting.  My Most Precious One was a story that wanted to be written.  I'm only a storyteller, I person who sits down and wants to share an adventure or a drama or even a romance.  Who am I kidding? Let's face it. They are romances with some serious sexy parts. lol. ;-)

I did intentionally want to write more about Lexi and Lukas. I loved them both and had a hard time letting them go, but when I finished the book, that's when the story ended.  If I had gone further, I felt like I would somehow dilute their love and lose who they were in the process.

Come February/March, My Guardian Angel should be ready to be published.  I'm in the beta reading stages now with my crazy book loving cousin.

Kassia and Jason crept into my mind in July and two months later, I had finished the book. As I wait for my beta reading cousin, I'm finishing up my first book in a trilogy I'm writing.  Yes, it’s yet again, another sexy billionaire story, but with my twists and turns.

I am also rereleasing my very first book, Memoirs of an Immortal.  I took it down and wanted to polish it the best I could. It’s a fantasy romance about an immortal in ancient Greece.  Where Lexi and Lukas are my heart, Psykhe is my soul. Her journey is so crazy. I still hardly know where it’s going to take me.

I truly love all the support I'm getting. Thank you all for taking a leap and reading my stories.

I can’t exactly express how f’en elated I am that so many of you like My most Precious one.  Thank you so much for all the FB messages, emails and reviews.  As a writer you’re supposed to be able to put a few words together and describe a feeling. But the truth is takes thousands of my words to just express the high I have when it takes all of you so few wondrous words to make me feel happy.

What can i say about this book? I was so excited about reading it that I even made a reminder on my iPhone.  Reese Durham the playboy billionaire of the group finds his match with uptight and who he thinks is proper Audrey Petty.  Reese amused at how she ruined his weekend with a rich heiress decides to get her back by blackmailing her with the little secret she held close to her heart for so many years, her crush on his friend Cade.  Using this info he's able to get what he wants from her.  Audrey is a firecracker under her prime clothing and secretly enjoys her little rendezvous with Reese.  Their relationship is hot and sizzling as they argue and have sex constantly.

I loved this book!!!! I really loved this book!!!! did I mention how much i loved it?

READ THIS BOOK!!!

I really hope that Jessica Clare writes about the three other billionaires because her book are so fun and interesting to read.  not one of them lacked in anyway.

How do I love thee let me show you the number

Kristen Proby did it again with this amazing book.  I have to admit it was a fast read, nothing too challenging but man was it fun.  I felt like the struggles that both Caleb and Brynna went through were real and tangible.  Caleb with his PTSD from his time in the SEALS to Brynna's fear of having Caleb in her life and those of her two twin daughters.

Caleb like all Kristen's males was all Alpha no doubt about it but the vulnerability when he let his guard down with his PTSD made him more endearing.  Brynna was a strong mom of two twin each of them with their own personalities.  the book was funny and amazing and well the sex scenes were way up there.

how shall I rate thee?

I was born and raised in Montreal Canada and I currently live with my husband who at times drives me nuts. I've been going to Concordia University for over ten years as a Classical Civilization and Linguistic student. The pull to the ancient world was too great for me to let go, so I continue my education so I could feel closer to the world I identifies with.
I read nonstop devouring books like its food, loving the feeling of being lost in a world that another author has created.
